Dreamphone is an indie-alternative project by vocalist Hattie Simon & producer/multi-instrumentalist Seb Zel. Powered by vivid lyricism and a bold, no-holds-barred approach to production, their music embraces radical shifts in texture and intensity. Moments of lush, ethereal orchestration give way to pounding, oversaturated drum grooves; introspective verses swell to soaring, anthemic choruses. Deft songwriting lies at the root of it all; beneath the duo’s hyper-modern sonics and imaginative production, a strong pop-oriented melodicism is ever-present

Dreamphone has been extensively involved in the NYC community since its inception in 2019, and has performed at many of NYC’s most prominent and historic small-midsize venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn, including but not limited to Elsewhere, The Sultan Room, Nublu 151, and Mercury Lounge - as well as highly anticipated one-offs in Chicago, Princeton, and Los Angeles.

Dreamphone looks ahead to a well-stocked 2024 of releases.
